Pros:
1. Great sound quality when playing DVDs (I haven’t tried it with Blu-Ray yet).
2. Decent CD quality sound.
3. Powerful/Loud. No distortion at high volumes.
4. Sleek, compact and stylish. I love the “tall-boy” speakers and the compact main unit.
5. Complete hi-fi system in one compact unit: AM/FM radio, Blu-Ray/DVD/CD/MP3 player, iPod player with integrated dock. It can display photos on your TV too, either from a CD, DVD or SD card……all at a reasonable price on Amazon.com
6. Smart setup system makes sets up the speakers in one easy step.
7. Several options for surround sound.
8. On-unit display can be dimmed. This is a really nice feature.

Cons:
A. Takes a long time (maybe 30 seconds, perhaps one minute) to boot up! Annoying.
B. Decent CD quality sound. I expected better.
C. Lack of a “custom” mode for equalizer.
D. On-unit display does not list track number during CD playback.
E. Lack of information about the unit on manufacturer website!
F. Ease of use could be better.

Summary: Very good all-in-one unit for HDTV, movies (DVD or Blu-ray), iPod, CD and radio. Fantastic movie/HDTV system, decent hi-fi system.

I had my doubt’s, but I must admit that I am very happy with the unit. After reading some of the reviews I thought I would have a problem hooking the unit up. Setup was a breeze, I had concerns about the length of the wires (thought I would have spice them)but I had penty(I ran wires under floor to rear speakers). I was also concerned about the radio, with 20 presets for both AM & FM I found that to be more than enough. And the sound is great, gets really loud!!! I brought Plant Earth on blue-ray, the picture is outstanding!!! I also thought the pictuce was good with standard dvd’s as well. I already owned a Panasonic TV, was pleased when I hooked up the unit to my tv and found that the remote from tv gives limited use of the unit. For the price, I think it’s a great buy.

Hooked it up direct to my PS3 optical, went through the set-up step-by-step for my personal settings and room, put in Blu-ray movie, Transformers and was BlOWN AWAY! Was very limited with space in my room (master bedroom)…was able to fit the sub-woofer, laying flat, under the dresser as it’s very slim (4.17″ wide!). Can’t even tell I have a subwoofer in the room except for the fact that I have GREAT bass now. It is PERFECT for my setup…I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!

Denon fs3 soundbar exceeded my expectations. Great bass, and the sounds come out truly natural. This is money well-spent, and is recommended as a must-have for home theatre set-ups especially for anyone with a limited room area. A 5 to 1 audio experience in a compact-sized surround sound.
Thanks Amazon. Delivery was fast and secure. Received the item in excellent condition, and came with the accessories as advertised. I will continue doing more business with this outfit.
A limitation to this product is the non-HDMI cable connectivity. But nonetheless, it’s just a minor inadequacy. (for me!) Also, ipod dock (asd 1r) has to be purchased separately.
