Samsung officially announced its tablet device the Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000) that is the world’s first DivX certified tablet. It has 7-inch 1024×600 TFT touchscreen display and supports tri-band 3G HSPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks and also acts as a mobile phone (via speakerphone and headset).
The Galaxy Tab key features 16GB or 32GB internal storage, GPS support, 5GHz dual-band 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3 Megapixel rear camera with flash and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera.
This tablet device is powered by Cortex A8 1GHZ processor with 512MB of RAM and runs Android 2.2 OS with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, Flash player, Swype keyboard. The tablet packs gyroscope sensor, geo-magnetic sensor, acceleometer. There is also a microSD card slot and 30pin connector.
